An impressive Tekken 7 mod quickly gaining traction online adds Elden Ring characters to the game, complete with familiar movesets. The mod even got the attention of Tekken series director Katsuhiro Harada, who urges players not to get it confused for an official crossover. It’s just that good.
The Tekken 7 mod was created by Ultraboy and is available to download right now on PC. It adds eight Elden Ring characters as optional fighters to the roster, including Melina, Malenia, Radahn, Alexander, the Prisoner, the Bloody Wolf (Tarnished), Ranni and a giant lobster.

For some reason, Malenia now wields the Agni & Rudra weapons from Devil May Cry 3. Each character also dons the abilities of familiar Tekken 7 fighters. For example, the Prisoner’s moveset replicates Lee Chaolin while Ranni takes on Kazumi’s moveset.
The mod quickly caught the attention of Harada, who took to Twitter to comment on the mod:
“Um… sure, Elden is a Bandai Namco-funded title, and I was the production general manager in charge of Elden, so it’s not irrelevant. It’s [a] ridiculously well-made mod but plz stop it lol.”
One fan asked if Harada meant that people should stop making the mod, or if they should just stop tweeting him about it. Harada responded:
“You probably don’t know, but there are surprisingly many people who think this is [an] official one or make various understandings and contact us. I don’t say anything for your personal enjoyment, but I want you to know that there are people in your community who make noise based on misunderstandings.”
Turns out this mod is so good, Harada is concerned that fans might accidentally mistake it for an official crossover. We’re inclined to agree, as the Elden Ring character models are insanely detailed and meticulous in their faithfulness to From Software’s own designs.
Elden Ring is now available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Check out a trailer showing the mod in action below.
