Indiana Jones and the Great Circle now has an official PS5 release date. The game’s release date leaked a few days back with rumours that it would require an internet connection even to play the disc version of it. The PS5 version has been confirmed, and the news arrived with a cool trailer featuring Nolan North.
Now you might be thinking, “Why is Nolan North there?“ Well, it seems the whole trailer was meant to be a nudge at the Uncharted series as North is the star and voice of Nathan Drake. Although Troy Baker and Nolan North both appeared together in 2016’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
The trailer goes on about Troy Baker now joining a “very exclusive club” as a fellow adventurer on PS5. It doesn’t directly reference Uncharted, but you kind of get the point.
The video confirms that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will arrive on PS5 on 17 April, which is just less than a month away. It will come with a Standard Edition, Premium Edition, and Collector’s Edition (where available).
Pre-ordering the Premium Edition game will grant you up to 2 days of early access so you can jump into the game on 15 April. You’ll also get the The Last Crusade Pre-Order Bonus Pack.
Indiana Jones and The Great Circle originally launched in late 2024 after its August announcement. In my review, I praised the game’s excellent story and action but at the same time, felt like the padding in-between all the major set pieces added too much fluff and repetitiveness to the experience.
