Wolfenstein Developer MachineGames and publisher Bethesda are currently working on an untitled Indiana Jones game based on the popular movie character. So far, we’ve heard very little about the game but fans are in for a treat next week as it’s scheduled to be shown off at Xbox’s next Developer Direct showcase. Ahead of the event, a new leak has seemingly revealed that the title of the game will be Indiana Jones and The Great Circle.
As documented by Twitter/X user Kurakasis, who previously reported on a new AAA Might and Magic video game, Lucasfilm registered several domains earlier this week with the title ‘Indiana Jones and The Great Circle.’ There’s no doubt that this is the title of the upcoming MachineGames and Bethesda game unless it’s reserved for a completely unrelated project.

The leaker adds that Lucasfilm also filed a trademark for ‘The Great Circle‘ in Europe two years ago, including ‘mobile’ in its trademark. It’s believed that this was done for legal reasons because it’s possible for games to now be played on phones with streaming services. It’s highly unlikely that the upcoming game, which has already been confirmed for current-gen platforms, will have a mobile variant of some kind but we’ve seen stranger things.
I might have found the official title of Bethesda’s Indiana Jones game developed by MachineGames:
INDIANA JONES AND THE GREAT CIRCLE

The Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct showcase will take place on Thursday, 18 January at 10pm CAT. Alongside a look at the new Indiana Jones game, we’re also getting more details and deep dives for Obsidian Entertainment’s upcoming Skyrim-inspired RPG, Avowed; another look at Ninja Theory’s Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 and a closer look at Ara: History Untold. Both Avowed and Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 are set to launch this year.
The timing of the trademark seems a bit too coincidental so the title is more than likely accurate.
