Developer Infinity Ward is doing a lot right when it comes to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, from dedicated servers to not having a Season Pass, cross-play and more. However, one of the things that many gamers are always concerned about is microtransactions. Previous Call of Duty titles have only shown their microtransaction system after launch and it looks like we won’t hear how the Modern Warfare microtransactions system will work for quite a while.

The game releases in roughly two months and fans want to know what the microtransaction system will look like, or any details at all. This is evident by a Reddit thread that over on r/ModernWarfare which was upvoted all the way to the top, asking for any information about the game’s microtransactions because they want to make an informed decision before purchasing the game.
Now, Infinity Ward’s Senior Communications Manager has responded, simply stating that:

Another Reddit user pressed the issue, to which the Communications Manager replied:

Hopefully, Infinity Ward will have a plan for Modern Warfare microtransactions that will make gamers happy. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is set to release on 25 October for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. At the time of writing, we have no idea how the microtransaction system for the game will look like.
