Inside Out 2 ended its theatrical run with some impressive numbers. It is one of Disney’s biggest movies this year and if you didn’t get the chance to spend R400 to watch it at the cinema, you can soon watch it digitally at home.
The Pixar animated film will launch on Disney Plus at the end of September. Subscribers will be able to start streaming it on 25 September. This includes all versions of Disney Plus.
If you can’t wait that long, or perhaps don’t subscribe to Disney Plus, Inside Out 2 is already available digitally across Apple TV, Google Movies and other online platforms. Renting it or purchasing the movie through these services might be better in the long run. You’ll get the film alongside some special behind-the-scenes content. Not to mention a 4K UHD film instead of Disney Plus’ HD streaming.
Inside Out 2 ended its cinema run with $1.46 billion in global revenue. In the United States, the film made $598 million alone. As it stands, Inside Out 2 is the only film in 2024 to reach $1 billion.
