iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 brings a massive list of changes and features and the public beta is a great way to experience these. Apple has added the ability to place widgets on your iPhone home screen, a new sleep feature for Apple Watch, an app drawer-like organizer, redesigned Siri, picture-in-picture and much more. No, really, there’s a lot to enjoy in iOS 14.
How to install iOS 14 Public Beta
Keep in mind that this software is still in early development which means it could be buggy. I have been running the developer beta since last month and it is stable but there’s a few issues here and there. For example, Pokemon GO and other Jailbreak-protected apps won’t work. It is nothing life-threatening at this stage. If you have ever run a beta software before then you know what you are doing.
It goes without saying that expect a load of updates released in the coming months ahead as Apple usually rolls out a new version once a week. In addition, as time goes by, the software will be improved so if you don’t install it now, it could be better in a month’s time.
Back up your iPhone or iPad before installing the beta. Do this through iCloud or iTunes
