iStore has announced that the new iPhone 15 range will launch in South Africa a week after the US release. Starting on 22 September, South Africans can pre-order their iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro ahead of the launch on 29 September.
If you missed the announcement, catch up on all our Apple Event coverage including the iPhone 15 range and Apple Watch Series 9 news.
All four iPhone 15 models will launch at the same time in South Africa. This includes the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. While pricing has not yet been confirmed, iStore says customers can lock in their trade-in value for their new device beforehand.
iStore customers can lock in their trade-in value to ensure they get the highest possible value for their current iPhone for when they are ready to trade in and upgrade to iPhone 15, or any new iPhone. At iStore, customers can trade in their current iPhone and upgrade their contract on Vodacom, MTN or Telkom and to get up to R15 000 cash back. That’s cash deposited straight into their bank account to spend on whatever they want, wherever they want. iStore will be locking in their already best-in-market trade in values until the end of December 2023.
You can find out more about the trade-in service here.
Like previous years, iStore will also offer customers the same contract features. This means you can get the iPhone 15 on a new line or upgrade an existing contract. You can also do so across all network providers including Vodacom, MTN and Telkom.
Customers will also get a free iCare Extended Warranty with all iPhone purchases valued at R199. This includes a free screen replacement and a 1-year Extended Warranty (2 years in total) valued at R1999.
We will share the iPhone 15 South African pricing as soon as we receive it.
