Fundraising website itch.io has launched a new bundle aimed at raising funds for the National Network of Abortion Fund’s Collective Power Fund in the US. The Collective Power Fund works to “move money directly to abortion funds across 20+ U.S states, with a particular focus on the South and Midwest”.
The bundle was created in direct response to the recent decision to overturn Roe vs. Wade which effectively recriminalised abortions in the U.S. Roe vs. Wade was originally set into place in 1973, which gave women the right to abortions, which was recently overturned.

The bundle itself contains content from over 600 creators with over 750 games for a minimum donation of just $10, though you can donate any amount you wish to, and is valued at over $3000. The current goal listed on itch.io is sitting at $200 000 with $129,199.50 raised so far with all of the proceeds going to the National Network for Abortion Fund’s Collective Power Fund.
“100 percent of the proceeds from this bundle will go to the National Network for Abortion Fund’s Collective Power Fund, which moves money directly to abortion funds across 20+ US states, with a particular focus on the South and Midwest (where it is often most difficult to get access to abortions).”
The bundle contains mostly indie games from a wide range of developers, both development houses and solo developers. Following the decision to reverse Roe vs. Wade, multiple video game companies have spoken out against the U.S Supreme Court and its decision, with many still offering to financially support those who are affected by the abortion ban.
“At Xbox, we remain committed to our employees to ensure equal access to healthcare. We will continue to do everything we can under the law to support our employees and enrolled dependents in accessing critical healthcare. Our US health plans cover lawful medical services like abortion and gender-affirming care, and we recently extended our travel benefits to include travel expense support assistance for covered medical services.”
