WWE Superstar John Cena is coming to PGA Tour 2K23…. 2K announced the surprise crossover that will see the wrestler put down his power drives and prop ladders in favour of a golf club. This PGA Tour 2K23 DLC is set to launch on 7 April and according to 2K Games, the studio has several celebrity appearances coming to the game and John Cena is just the first.
2K Games shared some images of John Cena playing golf and they look exactly as you would expect – John Cena is playing golf. Of course, the internet has let loose with all the “where is John Cena I can’t see him in the image” jokes. But the wrestler is seen wearing the game’s signature red white and blue attire. I personally would have loved to have him in a wrestling kit or Peacekeeper outfit.

John Cena also comes with his own set of stats in PGA Tour 2K23. His power is maxed out at 100. Cena is lacking a bit when it comes to a Swing Path and Putt Path rating though.
THE CHAMP IS HERE!
Did you see him? You’ll soon be able to play as the one and only JOHNNNN CENAAAA in #PGATOUR2K23! Coming April 7 👋 @JohnCena pic.twitter.com/60aukOmg2e— #PGATOUR2K23 (@PGATOUR2K) March 30, 2023
2K Games says John Cena will be available for PGA Tour 2K23 on 7 April. By the look of things, he will be a DLC character and not available for free. 2K Games also confirmed that the next celebrity character is Michael Jordan. Steph Curry will also join the roster in the weeks ahead.
The recent celebrity additions don’t come as a big surprise. 2K Games has adopted this DLC approach for a while now with the WWE 2K series. The WWE 2K22 saw both Machine Gun Kelly and Logan Paul join the roster last year.
