Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash will feature 2v2 battles and walk players through the major events of Jujutsu Kaisen‘s story, including being able to play as several fan-favourite characters like Satoru Gojo, Yuji Itadori, Nobara Kugisaki and Megumi Fushiguro. There will be around 15 fighters to choose from when the game launches. Bandai Namco put an emphasis on choosing the secondary character in fights as it presents a multitude of options to synergise techniques and abilities.

Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash will be the first game in the franchise to appear on modern consoles as well as PC. Apart from not having a release date or window, we know that the fighting game is scheduled to launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.

Jujutsu Kaisen began as a manga in 2018 from author Gege Akutami and was adapted into an extremely popular anime in 2020. The story follows a teenager named Yuji Itadori who one day ingests the finger of a powerful demon and acquires supernatural abilities. Thrust into the world of dangerous and malevolent beings called Curses, Yuji must get to the bottom of the world’s dark secrets and learn about his newfound powers along the way.

The anime received a prequel movie called Jujutsu Kaisen 0 back in 2021. A second season of the television anime will begin airing this month and cover more of the manga’s events.

I’d perfer something similar in comparison with DBZ Kakarot then another generic 2v2 3d brawler.
