We all know Keanu Reeves is the face of Cyberpunk 2077 right now as he role in the game is as a digital companion to the player. What we did not know is just how much involvement the actor has in the game and it seems it is a lot more than what was originally planned.

Keanu Reeves plays Johnny Silverhand and according to TGCOM24, Keanu loved playing the character so much that he requested CD Projekt Red double his time on screen in order to flesh out his role even more. According to the interview with Lucas Ward, who is a long-time Italian dubber for Keanu, Reeves got his screen time doubled compared to the original script.
We don’t mind in the slightest but it is interesting to hear that Keanu Reeves will have a much bigger role in the game than we thought. Could this be through his own separate missions or just dialogue and animations added into places he was not previously in? Who knows.
We will have to wait and see how Johnny Silverhand plays out as his non-playable character in Cyberpunk 2077 when CD Projekt RED releases the game on 16 April 2020.
