Skybound Games has announced a physical release for Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game. The meticulously designed physical edition that combines the game with quirky collectables will be available on 15 October 15. The Standard Edition is currently available for pre-order at global retailers.
Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror based on the iconic MGM ‘80s film. In the battle between Killer Klowns and the citizens of Crescent Cove, team up and use your wits to harvest humans or survive and escape the alien invasion!
Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game was released in May this year and has already received multiple free game updates. A new map just recently launched on 22 August called the Waterfront Pier. The map is seemingly inspired by the San Diego Pier. It features roller coasters, amusement park rides and arcade games.
The new map is a large coastal structure built for summer fun! This elongated design features a large upper board walk area with tightly packed concession stands, rides, and shops built for gorgeous views of the coast and ocean alike.
These and other elements work to consistently cause terrifying close-quarter encounters, where stealth and precision movements are critical for success on either side. Through several access points, players can enter and explore under the boardwalk, a much damper, dimly lit place. Depending on how you choose your path, this labyrinth of dock access can lead to your escape or an untimely demise. The connecting parking lot and beaches also provide useful escape routes and multilevel access. Enjoy combing through the rubble and seeing the impact of the Klown invasion on this once-fun seaside destination.
The game is expected to get even more updates in September and October onwards, so this physical release is great news. Catch up on the latest trailer for the game below:
