The official Kingdom Hearts soundtracks are now available to listen to on both Apple Music and Spotify. The 187-track collection offers 6 hours of music which spans the entire Kingdom Hearts series. While Kingdom Hearts music has been available on streaming platforms before, the albums were restricted to orchestra versions of the select tracks.
Combined, the collection includes 187 tracks to listen to. The original Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix album consists of three discs for a total of 84 tracks and 2 hours and 15 minutes of music. The second album focuses on Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix. It is much bigger too with 103 tracks and 3 hours and 45 minutes of music.

I highly recommend a listen to these albums. They sound fantastic on Apple Music and the audio quality is the best I have heard to date. You’ll even notice instruments you might have missed in the past by streaming the music on YouTube.
The addition of Kingdom Hearts to Apple Music and Spotify is a great move. Hopefully, we’ll get more gaming soundtracks added to the service in the future. Last month, Atlus added more Persona soundtracks to Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music and Amazon Music. Atlus has been quite strict in the past with its music for the Persona series so this was a nice thing to see.
With Kingdom Hearts 4 announced, Square Enix likely wants to make the series’ best feature, its soundtrack, available to the masses. The sequel will focus on an entirely new story. The game is now in development.
