Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning Day One Patch Adds Very Hard Mode
"Take on a harder challenge and equip more abilities."

The official Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning day one patch notes are live ahead of the game’s release next week. Those of you who enjoy a challenge might be happy to know the game is getting another difficulty mode. In addition, THQ is adding a whole new gameplay element to the game which allows users to equip more abilities on their character. This means the harder difficulty mode is backed by a new exciting gameplay approach.

We can’t confirm the size of the Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning day one patch at the moment. However, we can share the patch notes;

  • Stability improvements.
  • Allows equipping of 8 abilities instead of 4.
  • Balancing updates.
  • Very hard difficulty level added.
  • Performance Improvements.
  • Indoor rooms are brighter.
  • Camera options, HUD scaling option.

The idea of a “Very Hard” difficulty in Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is quite exciting. The game’s combat and deep RPG system mean players can invest in their characters and take up a new challenge while doing so. The additional four abilities will also add to the gameplay experience as players can chain together attacks, buffs and spells while they tackle the tougher enemies.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is releasing on 8 September 2020 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game is a remaster of the 2012 RPG. Last week, THQ released the first gameplay trailer for the upcoming game. Watch it down below.
