Kirby and The Forgotten Land Demo Now Live on Switch

Nintendo Switch owners can now download and play a special Kirby and the Forgotten Land demo. The demo arrives shortly after Nintendo released a brand new trailer for the upcoming game that includes an overview of what players will do when it launches later this month.

Kirby and The Forgotten Land follows our favourite pink ball of hot air on a new adventure to a whole new land. Kirby wakes up in this Forgotten Land and sets off to save the Waddle Dees from a new unknown threat.

Kirby and The Forgotten Land is also a new approach for the series. It marks Kirby’s first 3D adventure. Up to now, Kirby games have mostly remained side-scroller platformers.

Kirby can also transform and use his usual awesome powered-up abilities but at the same time, he can also swallow real-world objects and control them around the game. For example, Kirby can now latch onto a car and drive it around the stage as he uses it to find new areas previously inaccessible. These new Mouthful modes include cones, rings, bulbs and more.

The entire Kirby and the Forgotten Land is playable in co-op too making it a great option for couch co-op. Not to mention the added player will create even more opportunities to fight the beasts in the Forgotten Land.

Kirby and The Forgotten Land is set to launch on 25 March 2022 only on Switch. Watch the overview trailer below.
