Konami Press Start Showcase Silent Hill F Metal Gear Solid Delta

Konami Announces its Own Showcase For This Thursday

Silent Hill and Metal Gear Solid publisher Konami has announced its own dedicated showcase for this Thursday. The Konami Press Start presentation promises news and updates on upcoming titles like Silent Hill F and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Since the event will run for 37 minutes, fans are expecting a few surprises in the showcase.

Konami Press Start will air this week Thursday, 12 June at 3PM SAST / 6AM PT / 9AM ET / 2PM BST and last roughly around 37 minutes with “game updates and appearances from Konami Digital Entertainment developers and producers.” The show is expected to mainly focus on Silent Hill F and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, which launch on 25 September and 28 August this year, respectively. However, Konami added that more games will also be featured.

As for what else could be announced, rumours about a new Castlevania game have been floating around for a couple of years since Konami announced that it would be returning in full force to the video game world. A report from March 2023 claimed that a Castlevania game has been in the works at the company under the codename “Project Zircon”, though we’ve heard nothing about it since then. Another report stated that a new game would be announced this year, so the Konami presentation seems like an ideal place to reveal it.

Both Silent Hill F and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater were shown at last week’s PlayStation State of Play event along with some new gameplay footage. The former is being developed by NeoBards Entertainment from Higurashi When They Cry writer Ryukishi07 while the latter is mainly being developed by The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered studio Virtuos. With both games’ release dates secured, Konami is set to have a stellar year.

The Konami Press Start showcase takes place on 12 June and it can be streamed on YouTube.
