Earlier this week, Sony announced a new State of Play focusing on PS4 titles and made it clear that we won’t hear anything about their next-gen plans. What Sony didn’t make clear is if we will be seeing Last of Us Part 2 from Naughty Dog during the State of Play stream. The developer has now cleared up any confusion as we will see the highly-anticipated PS4 exclusive make an appearance.

If Last of Us Part 2 isn’t enough, there will be other new game announcements for PS4 owners to look forward to. What exactly these announcements will be about is still unclear, as Sony’s description only explains that:

And we’ll have some great news to share with you, including new game reveals, new content from PlayStation’s Worldwide Studios, and a host of other updates. Should be fun![/perfectpullquote]
Hopefully, we will see a release date for the game alongside other announcements and maybe an update for Ghost of Tsushima. There’s also a media event taking place on the same day media event Last of Us Part 2, so we can expect to see and hear a lot about the upcoming title.
