Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Reveals The Still World

The latest Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom trailer gives players a good look at the world Nintendo has created for the upcoming game. The trailer sheds light on the exploration, dungeons and how Princess Zelda will get through some of the challenges in the world.

Essentially, Zelda needs to track down the missing people of Hyrule. These people have been swallowed by strange rifts that have appeared across the kingdom. She must now enter these rifts, overcome the challenges and save them. Princess Zelda is also accompanied by an ethereal creature called Tri.

To find the missing people, Zelda and Tri must venture into the Still World, a realm accessible through rifts. Each entry point leads to a unique location, and some of these locations contain dungeons brimming with mysteries waiting to be solved. To navigate the distorted terrain and explore the Still World, players must harness the combined power of Zelda and Tri.

While exploring the Still World, Zelda discovers a mysterious sword that grants her the ability to transform into a formidable Swordfighter. This form allows her to engage in direct combat with enemies, forge ahead when blocked, and even battle alongside echoes. The sword’s gauge can be replenished by collecting energy scattered throughout the Still World.

Hyrule is home to a diverse cast of characters, and some of them will prove invaluable to the princess. For instance, Dampé, an engineer skilled in clockwork mechanisms, possesses the ability to create automatons. Once activated, these automatons unleash powerful effects, but be cautious, as they will disintegrate if they sustain too much damage.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is set to launch on 26 September only on Nintendo Switch. There’s also a Limited Hyrule Edition Nintendo Switch Lite launching at the same time. The device comes with a gold casing and no game. Both the game and the console are available to pre-order now.  Watch the trailer below:
