2K Games has detailed the content players will receive when they pick up LEGO 2K Drive and its “Drive Pass”. The pass comes in Awesome Edition and Awesome Rivals Edition of the game. They cost R1,700 and R2,139 (cries) respectively. However, the Drive Pass is also available as a standalone pack after launch.
By the look of things, LEGO 2K Drive will get new content for an entire year thanks to this Drive Pass. The game will also likely get a Year 2 Drive Pass sometime next year. The content is set to arrive in batches starting in June, September, November and early 2024.

Each content drop is called a “Season” and comes with a Free and a Premium rack. If you own the LEGO 2K Drive “Drive Pass” you’ll then get the premium rack each season.
The Season includes 100 levels to play through. Both the Free and Premium levels include new drivers, stickers, flairs, sounds and more. 2K Games is also adding a whole new biome to the game within the first year.
Of course, if you choose to not get the Premium pass you’ll then be able to rank up the Free levels and upgrade to the Premium pass to instantly unlock those too. However, 2K Games also revealed Coins. If you purchase the Year 1 Drive Pass, you’ll get 550 Coins. We don’t know what these coins are used for. Let’s hope there isn’t a Battle Pass and full in-game store at the same time in this title.
Thankfully, if you don’t finish a season in time for the next one, 2K Games says you can still work on older tracks to unlock those past levels too. So there’s no big rush to grind to level 100 every time a new season drops.
LEGO 2K Drive will release on 19 May 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch and PC. Check out the latest trailer below:
