LEGO 2K Drive has been announced from the studio behind the WWE 2K and NBA 2K franchises, Visual Concepts. It is one of many new LEGO sports games in the works at 2K and is described as an open-world game with single-player and multiplayer components where players build any vehicle they like.
2K says that LEGO 2K Drive will feature a wide open world with different biomes, races, mini-games, challenges and collectables. It will also feature over 1,000 unique LEGO pieces to choose from where players can craft their own vehicles on the go.

If making vehicles isn’t your thing, the game will also feature ready-made ones from LEGO City, Creator, Speed Champions and other popular vehicle lineups.
Players can jump into the game solo, race against other players or even play the entire game through a co-op experience. Co-op is available online and through split-screen.
LEGO 2K Drive won’t restrict players to racing on the road either. There is off-road racing as well as water racing too.
“With the history the LEGO brand holds, we were very conscious of the responsibility we had to both our partners and longtime fans of LEGO play, while still thinking about how we can bring something new and unique to a LEGO title. For LEGO 2K Drive , we assembled a best-in-class team of game makers who poured their hearts into an unforgettable experience we can’t wait to share with fans.”
The game is set to launch on 19 May for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch and PC. Check out the announcement trailer below.
