Nintendo LEGO Game Boy

LEGO Game Boy Price and Release Date Appear Online

Last month, Nintendo announced a new collaboration with LEGO to produce a replica of the classic Game Boy handheld console which fans can build with bricks, marking yet another collab between the two companies who have a history of working together on projects. According to new information, we now have the potential price as well as the release date for the LEGO Game Boy, including how many bricks will be included in the set.

The report comes from FalconBrick Studios (reported by Video Games Chronicle), an Instagram account known for posting information on LEGO sets before they’re officially announced. The account claims that the LEGO Nintendo Game Boy will retail for $59,99 and has a release date of 1 October 2025. Additionally, it was revealed that the Game Boy will come with 421 pieces.

The release date lines up with the initial announcement which revealed that it would release sometime in October. It seems like we have a concrete release date, if this leak is to be believed. The other notable detail is the price, which seems a bit on the higher end but not entirely unexpected given that it’s a Nintendo item based on one of its classic handheld consoles.

This is the second Nintendo console that has been LEGO-fied, so to speak. The first was the LEGO NES which launched back in August 2020 and cost fans a whopping $229,99, though this came in a set which also included a 1980s television and a scrolling Super Mario Bros. scene.

Nintendo has also partnered with LEGO in the past with several of its key franchises including Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong, Animal Crossing and Mario Kart. We can probably expect more collaborations with the company in the future but for now, collectors can look forward ot getting their hands on this awesome handheld piece this October.
