LEGO Super Mario Toys Announced in a New Nintendo Collaboration

LEGO and Nintendo have teamed up to create the ultimate LEGO Super Mario toys and we need them in our lives today! The company began teasing the toys on 10 March 2020 which is actually Mario Day. The LGO Group is partnering up with Nintendo in a whole new way and the Mario toys are much more than meets the eye as it will allow users to interact with Mario like never before.

The LEGO Super Mario product line features an interactive Mario figure that collects coins in “real-life” game levels users will create with the LEGO bricks. While details are scarce right now, the video which you can watch down below shows off some things you will be able to do with the toys including building your very own “level” using Mario-related items.

Toy owners will then be able to use the LEGO Super Mario toy to explore these stages, jump around and activate themed sounds as if you were playing the classic game. When you jump on a Goomba’s head, it makes the sound and when you enter a pipe, the sound effect replicates that seen in the Nintendo video games.

We will have to wait and see what else the toys have in store for us when it launches later this year.
