Lies of P August 2023 Release Month New Trailer

Lies of P Download Size and Preload Dates Revealed

The PlayStation download size has been revealed for the upcoming Bloodborne-inspired action-RPG, Lies of P, ahead of its release later this month. PS4 and PS5 players will be glad to know that it won’t take up too much space and it’s safe to say that the install size will be within the same range across Xbox and PC platforms as well. Additionally, the game’s preload dates were also revealed.

According to the Twitter account PlayStation Game Size, the PS5 version of Lies of P will be 29.1 GB while the PS5 version will be slightly bigger at 34.7 GB. The version of the game is listed as 1.01 and 1.001.000, respectively, meaning further updates could increase that size a bit.

Furthermore, those who pre-ordered the standard edition of Lies of P can begin preloading the game on 17 September and access it at launch on 19 September, while Deluxe Edition buyers can start preloading on 14 September and gain a few days early access starting 16 September.

Xbox players will have a bit of an advantage as Lies of P will hit the Xbox Game Pass subscription service on day one. The game recently received seven minutes of tense gameplay showing off a spooky new location, the Lorenzini Arcade and its dangerous enemies.

According to director Choi Ji-won, Lies of P will have at least three endings so multiple playthroughs are encouraged to get everything that the game has to offer. Choi Ji-won also previously stated that it will take players around 30 hours to beat the main story, though completionists looking to find everything can expect that play time to last over 60 hours. In the world of Soulslike RPGs, a 30-hour length is a sweet spot which also suggests that there’s plenty of content for players to digest.

Lies of P launches on 19 September 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
