During its September State of Play live stream, Sony revealed a very-fancy limited edition Death Stranding PS4 Pro console coming your way when the game launches on 8 November 2019. The console features a black and white sandwich design with the game’s logo on the front and a pretty-cool DualShock 4.

On the front of the console, you have two giant handmarks placed in black paint that drip down the side but the main attraction, in our opinion is the DualShock 4 that features a striking yellow translucent design.
The DualShock 4 design on the Death Stranding Limited Edition PS4 Pro resembles the same style as the game’s iconic baby pod. It also looks quite similar to the pod that is included in the Collector’s Edition of the game. The controller also has the “Death Stranding” logo on the touchpad.
While local pricing has yet to be confirmed, the console is set to release on the same day as Death Stranding which is 8 November 2019. Sony boasts the PS4 Pro enhancements in the upcoming Hideo Kojima game but did not give any details on how the console will perform in terms of resolution and frame rate.
Past PS4 exclusives usually turn out a 4K resolution with the option to run in a performance mode reducing the resolution for a frame rate boost. We will have to wait and see how the upcoming game will make use of the extra power in the console.
