Loki MCU Marvel Multiverse

Loki Season 2 Release Date Confirmed for October

Marvel Studios has confirmed an October release date for Loki season 2. The first season of Loki proved to be one of Marvel’s biggest TV shows based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Most fans also see it as one of the most important ones as it establishes the overarching villain, Kang the Conqueror, for the next few phases of the MCU. Fans can tune into Disney Plus this October to catch the continuation.

As revealed by a recent social media post from Marvel Studios, the second season of Loki will debut on Disney Plus on 6 October 2023. It would’ve arrived earlier but the studio was hit with some delays and chose to push several of its projects into the latter half of the year.

The second season of Loki will see the return of Tom Hiddleston as the titular character alongside other returning cast members such as Jonathan Majors (as Kang), Owen Wilson (as Mobius), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (as Ravonna Renslayer), Wunmi Mosaku (as Hunter B-15), Eugene Cordero (as Casey AKA Hunter K-5E) and Sophia DiMartino. No official synopsis has been revealed yet but we can hopefully expect more multiverse adventures from Loki judging by the cliffhanger of the first season.

In addition to Loki season 2, Marvel Studios also announced that Echo, which is set to focus on the deaf antagonist Maya Lopez from Hawkeye, will also debut later this year on 29 November. As for the movies, The Marvels is set to arrive in cinemas on 10 November as a follow-up to 2019’s Captain Marvel, which will star Brie Larson alongside Ms. Marvel actress Iman Vellani. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 recently released to mostly positive reviews as well (you can read our full review here).
