Lords of the Fallen, the upcoming Soulslike dark fantasy action-RPG from developer HexWorks and publisher CI Games, has debuted an epic new launch trailer ahead of the game’s release later this week. The trailer showcases some dazzling cinematic set pieces and various boss fights in its grim world, preparing players for the challenging experience that awaits.
Lords of the Fallen is a follow-up/reboot to the 2014 Soulslike action-RPG of the same name. The new title will introduce a few unique features such as dual worlds that can be traversed as long as players have certain items on hand, drastically changing the landscape and in many cases, even the difficulty of some areas. The latest launch trailer gives players an idea of what to expect from the game when it releases later this week, so expect plenty of dark fantasy action and a good dose of creatively designed bosses.

The official description for Lords of the Fallen provided by Steam reads:
“Lords of the Fallen introduces an all-new, epic RPG adventure in a vast, interconnected world more than five times larger than the original game. After an age of the cruellest tyranny, the demon God, Adyr, was finally defeated. But Gods… do not fall forever. Now, aeons later, Adyr’s resurrection draws nigh.
