The Chinese-developed action game Lost Soul Aside from developer Ultizero Games and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment will be showcased and playable at the ChinaJoy 2023 event from 28-31 July. The game attracted the interest of mainstream players who compared its hyper-stylish combat to that of Devil May Cry or more recently, Final Fantasy XVI. Apart from an early 2024 release window, we still don’t have a concrete release date yet.
Lost Soul Aside was originally announced as a PS4 exclusive expected to be released way back in 2018 but plans changed and it’s now coming to both PS4 and PS5 in early 2024. So far, we’ve seen a fair amount of gameplay for the anticipated action game, giving us a better idea of its fast-paced combat, dazzling visuals and creative boss encounters.

Attendees at ChinaJoy 2023 will be able to play through one level of Lost Soul Aside this weekend. Hopefully it’s accompanied by a new trailer that gives us a release date which is long overdue.
Those attending ChinaJoy this year will be able to get their hands on a number of games at the PlayStation booth, though much of it is games that have already been released internationally. These include first-party titles like Gran Turismo 7, Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Horizon Forbidden West. Third-party games include Final Fantasy XVI, Street Fighter 6 and Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections, among many others.
