Skydance New Media has delayed the upcoming Marvel game that we know pretty much nothing about. Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra was supposedly meant to release sometime this year, even though we haven’t seen any gameplay up to now. However, the game will now launch in 2026.
According to Skydance, the delay will give the team more time to polish the experience. The delay was announced on social media where a post was shared. It reads;
We have an important update:
MARVEL 1943: Rise of Hydra will now be launching in early 2026.
Taking this additional time will allow us to add more polish, and make sure we give you the best possible experience, and one that lives up to our vision.
We have some exciting things in store and look forward to sharing more soon!
– The MARVEL 1943
We still know very little about Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra. The game was teased back in 2021 by Skydance, who is originally known for its blockbuster films such as Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning. The game has been described as a World War II action that spans multiple playable superheroes including Captain America and Black Panther.
The single trailer for Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra was CG and there’s been no gameplay shown at all.
