Marvel Reveals Falcon, Winter Soldier, Loki, WandaVision Disney+ Teaser

Marvel and Disney have been working hard to bring three upcoming Disney+ series to the new streaming platform including Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, and WandaVision. Up to last night, the studio had yet to release any sort of footage of these upcoming shows but during the Superbowl, we had a glimpse at the three productions in a short but sweet reel.

The teaser first saw Anthony Mackie’s Sam “Falcon” Wilson pick up Captain America’s shield and toss it around. We were then treated to our first look at Sabastian Stan’s Bucky “Winter Soldier” Barnes with a new haircut. The teaser showed a glimpse of Zemo’s return, the villain from Captain America: Civil War.

The teaser trailer also revealed footage of WandaVision starring Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff and Paul Bettany’s Vision. The show is said to see the two of them star in a surreal sitcom-like show. Unfortunately, the upcoming Loki was seen the least with only a glimpse of Tom Hiddleston speaking the lines “I am going to burn this place to the ground”.

These three upcoming Disney+ shows are meant to start rolling out later this year with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier being the first one followed by WandaVision at a later date. The show was actually brought forward after being originally set for a 2021 release.

We know the shows will play a vital role in the new Marvel Cinematic Universe and tie in the upcoming films in some way or another too. Unfortunately, here in SA, we will have to hang on to enjoy them as Disney+ has no expected launch date as of yet. The service is rolling out in Europe next month so hopefully, we are on the list to receive it later this year.
