The trailer features some voice over lines from the villain and a quick glimpse at Black Panther in all his glory. According to Square Enix, Black Panther will debut as a fully-playable character in the game when the War for Wakanda debuts later this year. The official description for the content reveals that players will battle against Klaw, new enemies and get to explore and adventure around the Wakanda biome.

Square Enix has confirmed that the Marvel’s Avengers Black Panther War for Wakanda expansion will be free for all players who own the game. The content has been a long time coming. Last year after Marvel’s Avengers released players spotted Black Panther game files in the build hinting that it would mark the game’s first DLC drop. However, the passing of Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman most likely forced Square Enix to delay the DLC.

If you missed it, the publisher released the new Marvel’s Avengers Future Imperfect DLC yesterday alongside the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S upgrade. If you have been looking for a reason to jump back into the game, now is the time. Check out the Marvel’s Avengers Black Panther War for Wakanda trailer down below.
