Marvel’s Avengers Gameplay Released Showcasing Combat and More

The Marvel’s Avengers E3 gameplay demo has been released by Square Enix as promised. The publisher told us we would get to see the game in action during Gamescom and we now have 18-minutes of gameplay to gaze at.

The video showcases the game’s prologue including character scenes from Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow and more. The combat is the highlight of the trailer as it reveals each heroes’ unique play style.

The trailer starts off with Thor as he blasts his way through enemies with his hammer and lightning attacks. It then goes into Iron Man flying through the air shooting lasers and missiles everywhere. Hulk then takes the spotlight in all his green anger and he picks up enemies and hits other enemies with them.

Captain America then pummels some enemies on a ship. The final parts of the gameplay then show Black Widow and Taskmaster having a hoe-down. Check out the gameplay trailer for Marvel’s Avengers down below;

The game will host a closed beta early next year for PS4 and will be available for those who pre-order. We also know the game will come with a Collector’s Edition containing an awesome Captain America statue that measures up to 12-inches. Marvel’s Avengers releases on 15 May 2020 for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia.
