Sony Interactive Entertainment released a free Marvel’s Iron Man VR demo on the PlayStation Store. The game is planned to release on 13 July 2020 after suffering a delay in early May. The demo will allow players to experience some of the features as well as take on the tutorial mission.
According to the PlayStation Blog, the Iron Man VR demo is not short of content and includes the “Malibu” tutorial mission, “interactive Start Jet cinematic starring Tony, Friday and Pepper Potts. In addition, ‘Out of the Blue’ Stark Jet gameplay mission, Flight Challenge optional mission, Advanced Combat Challenge optional mission,” According to Sony, the demo is but a small slice of what the main game offers.
Players who download and play the demo will get an exclusive armour decoration in the final release should they purchase it.
Along with the demo announcement, Sony revealed some new Iron Man VR PlayStation VR bundles. One of which includes the game, and two PlayStation Move controllers. In addition, Sony will be releasing a VR headset bundle which includes a PS VR headset, two PlayStation Move Controllers, a PlayStation Camera, Iron Man VR and a PS VR Demo Discs. Local pricing and availability has not been announced yet.
The game is releasing on 13 July 2020 only on PS4. Make sure you head over to the store to give the demo a go if you are keen to see what the game is all about.
