Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered recently launched on PC and of course, modders are all over the scene. We’ve seen new mods arrive such as letting users play as the late Stan Lee, but this latest one takes it to a whole new level. A new PC mod for Marvel’s Spider-Man now lets you play as the gravestone of Uncle Ben.
This messed up mod comes to us from Nexus Mods user Saphire, with the simple name “Become Uncle Ben.” The mod replaces Spider-Man’s skin with the gravestone of Peter Parker’s deceased Uncle Ben from the game’s world. Players are able to fight enemies, swing around the city and even witness some darkly comical cutscenes.

This isn’t the first time that players attempted to mod Uncle Ben’s gravestone into the game, as YouTuber jedijosh920 accomplished the same thing back in April for Marvel’s Spider-Man on PS4. Saphire’s mod brings the experience to the PC version of the game, but makes a few welcomed tweaks.
Ever since PlayStation began porting its major exclusives to PC, modders have been having the time of their lives making some interesting and otherwise hilarious creations. One particular favourite mod appears in God of War, which replaces Baldur’s skin with that of Halo protagonist Master Chief so you can see Kratos square off against Xbox’s legendary Spartan.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is the second biggest PC launch for Sony so far, trailing just behind God of War. It managed to pass the concurrent player numbers of both Days Gone and Horizon Zero Dawn in just a few days. Rumours seem to suggest that we’ll be seeing Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales also come to PC sometime in the future, as well as other PlayStation exclusives like Demon’s Souls and Sackboy: A Big Adventure.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is now available for PC via Steam.
