Mass Effect: Legendary Edition Set To Launch in March 2021 – Rumour

EA Games may release the much-anticipated Mass Effect: Legendary Edition on 12 March 2021 according to multiple retailers. EA has yet to officially announce a set date for the trilogy. However, during its announcement stream back in November last year, the publisher did say that the game will arrive sometime in Spring 2021. Autumn 2021 in South Africa.

Various retailers have begun posting the same 12 March 2021 release date for the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition game. Singapore retailer Shopitree and Indonesian store GSShop both have the game listed for that date. Twitter user Idle Sloth spotted the store listings yesterday. However, the game was listed for a whopping $79,99 which is quite high for a new triple-A release.

Keep in mind that EA Games and BioWare have yet to share any details on the game to date. We have not seen gameplay, screenshots, new features or anything of the sort. The official announcement back in November simply claimed that the game would include “updated textures, shaders, models, effects and technical features”. We also know the game will include all single-player content including post-launch DLC, promotional weapons and all of it is remastered in 4K Ultra HD.

BioWare boss Casey Hudson was excited to announce the Mass Eggect: Legendary Edition project last year saying;

“Our goal was not to remake or reimagine the original games, but to modernise the experience so that fans and new players can experience the original work in its best possible form.”

We also know that the developer is currently working on a brand-new Mass Effect project which is still in early development stages. The teaser trailer which was showcased during The Game Awards 2020 back in December showed off the Milky Way and some N7 armour.
