Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake Konami 2024

Metal Gear Solid 3 Singer and Voice Actress Teases Remake

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater singer and voice actress Donna Burke has teased a potential remake via a recent social media post. Burke posted an image on Twitter recently showing herself in a recording booth with the caption “recording in progress”, clearly holding what appears to be a Snake Eater card.

The remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 is one of the industry’s worst kept secrets right now. Reports first claimed that Virtuous Studios was working on an “unannounced remake” and had a working relationship with publisher Konami. Several reliable journalists and insiders have since corroborated rumours about the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake and now it looks like we may have our best lead yet after Burke’s recent photo.

Konami revived its long-dormant psychological horror series Silent Hill last year, unveiling a number of new projects in the works for the franchise including a remake of Silent Hill 2 by The Medium developer Bloober Team. After several rumours, it appears that the company is planning a similar resurgence of Hideo Kojima’s Metal Gear franchise but it will likely be without its creator.

As for when we can expect to hear more about these projects, Konami was reportedly planning to attend E3 this year with news about the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake as well as a revival of Castlevania. Since E3 is no longer happening, it’s possible that Konami could host its own digital event this June with all the exciting news. As with all rumours, take this with a pinch of salt though it seems pretty obvious that Burke is working on something related to Snake Eater at this point.

In related news, Bloober Team previously stated that Konami is interested in working with the developer on more projects beyond the Silent Hill 2 remake, which could take the form of more Silent Hill remakes down the line.
