Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater Ubisoft Games Nintendo Switch 2

Metal Gear Solid Delta and Several Ubisoft Games Rumoured For Switch 2

Nintendo is set to announce the long-awaited Switch 2 this Thursday, though we still have no idea which games will be coming to the new console. Previous leaks claimed that Tekken 8, Red Dead Redemption 2 and a FIFA game will all be ported over to the new hardware. However, we now have another rumour claiming that Konami will also launch the upcoming Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater on the Switch 2 while Ubisoft is also working on porting several titles too.

The report comes from known leaker NateTheHate who believes that Konami is working on a Switch 2 port of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, the updated remake of the legendary Metal Gear Solid 3. In the same report, they also mention that Ubisoft is also working on a Switch 2 port of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, though it will be released at a later date.

NateTheHate also went into some detail about other Ubisoft projects currently being worked on for the Nintendo Switch 2:

“I’ve been told that Ubisoft is doing more than half a dozen games for the Switch 2, and a lot of them are going to be late ports. These are from a range of franchises like The Division and Rainbow Six Siege. There was also some discussion and consideration of doing a Mario Rabbids collection, so it would have one and two in a single package. It’s just a question of when will these games come out, and I think for Ubisoft, if they can port the game, they will port the game.”

Speaking about Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, NateTheHate added, “Right now it lacks a release date for all platforms, and I’m hopeful that maybe it’s a day and date release when it does come to Switch 2, because if that game, let’s say comes out in the summer of 2025, there’s no reason it shouldn’t be day and date.”
