Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition PS5

Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition Needs Some Crazy PC Hardware in Order to Run

Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition is coming your way soon but if you think you can run the game then think again. The fantastic horror shooter, one of my favourite games of 2019 check my review here, is getting a fancy raytracing version of the game and it could be the best way to put your hella-expensive PC rig through its paces. 4A Games revealed the official PC requirements for the enhanced game and they are as “next-gen” as ever. So much so that your GTX 10-series is going to be pretty pointless now.

Before we get to the Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition PC system requirements let’s cover what gamers can look forward to in this version. 4A Games confirmed that Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition features a fully ray-traced pipeline that layers on top of a range of visual improvements and rendering techniques. This will enhance the game’s already impressive visuals by adding raytracing to reflections and support for DLSS 2.0.

4A Games promises that image quality will be out of this world thanks to the improvements to the increased frame rates, textures tweaks and resolution.

Keep in mind that Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition is also free for all owners of the game. However, you will need a ray-tracing compatible card in order to run it. This is not optional at this point. The game will let players take over their saves from other versions of the game. Except for the Microsoft Store version which is locked in the cloud (sorryboutit). There’s also a new chapter select option where users can jump right into certain parts of the game without having to go through it all.
