Michael Keaton, the man who seems to have an affinity for playing roles involving flying animals, has confirmed that he’s currently shooting new scenes as the Spider-Man villain Vulture, but stopped short of mentioning for which MCU movie.
Appearing on the Jimmy Kimmel show recently, Keaton confirmed that he’s shooting new content for the Marvel Cinematic Universe villain Vulture. Despite Kimmel pressing for a little more information and for which movie, Keaton simply replied “Vulture stuff.”

It’s possible that Keaton might be involved in the ongoing reshoots for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which is currently happening with star Benedict Cumberbatch and director Sam Raimi. Others have put forward the idea that Keaton is being added as a last-minute inclusion for the cast of villains, the Sinister Six, in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home. With that film just under a month from release though, it doesn’t seem likely. The last villain for the supposed Sinister Six has yet to be revealed.
Keaton will also be involved in the Sony produced Marvel film Morbius, which isn’t actually part of the MCU (officially) despite Keaton’s reprisal as Vulture in that film. However, Morbius had completed filming over a year ago and was ready to be released before the global pandemic forced its delay. It will now release in January 2022 instead.
The Marvel universe isn’t the only on-screen comic book world that Keaton is currently involved in, as he’ll be returning as Bruce Wayne/Batman in the upcoming DC movie The Flash too.
Spider-Man: No Way Home releases on 17 December 2021 exclusively in cinemas, though it’s unlikely that Keaton is shooting new scenes for it – unless it’s for a post-credits scene.
