Enotria: The Last Song

Microsoft and Jyamma Make Nice – Enotria: The Last Song Xbox Port Being Worked on

Enotria: The Last Song might get an Xbox Series X/S release date quite soon. Fans expected the game to be further delayed after developer Jyamma Games revealed that the Xbox certification and store listing process wasn’t completed due to Microsoft’s lack of communication.

Earlier this week, Jyamma Games CEO, Jacky Greco called out Microsoft for “not caring about games and not caring about its fans”. This was a result of the game’s delay following the lack of support in getting the title listed on the Xbox Store. According to Greco, the studio had reached out to Microsoft multiple times for help in listing the game and starting the certification process. Greco claims Microsoft just ignored them.

Following a rather nasty blow-up on social media, Microsoft and developer Jyamma Games have seemingly worked things out. Enotria: The Last Song is now being handled internally at Xbox and the studio hopes to announce a release date for the platform soon.

The studio confirmed the news on social media thanking Phil Spencer and his team for help resolving the situation. It only took an entire social media blow-up for it to happen.

Jyamma Games says it will share a release date for Xbox Series X/S as soon as possible. Given that the game is expected to launch on PC and PS5 on 19 September, perhaps the release date might line up with all the platforms now.

In the meantime, you can pre-order the upcoming souls-like game on the official website. Enotria: The Last Song is an upcoming soulslike action RPG built in Unreal Engine 5. Players explore a world while defeating enemies and collecting their masks. Upon collection, players can assume the roles of these characters and unlock abilities and attack styles. They can switch between 3 loadouts on the fly adding more variety to the game.

There is currently a demo available on all platforms. Watch the latest trailer below:
