Microsoft Announces Xbox Extended Showcase For 17 June

Microsoft may have just hosted a jam-packed 90-minute E3 2021 showcase event where the company revealed 30 games, 27 of them being Xbox Game Pass. However, they have just started. The company announced that a special extended Xbox Showcase event will take place on 17 June at 19:00 SAT, 1 pm ET and will feature games that we never got to see during the previous event. This includes the likes of Double fine, Ninja Theory, Rare, Obsidian and more.

The extended Xbox Showcase event might not reveal release dates and new games in development at these studios but the showcase might give us updates on some of the games we never got to see. These include Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, Avowed, Everwild, Sea of Thieves and more.

Microsoft has stated that this extended showcase event won’t host any big reveals but act as more of a conversation with the developers on the upcoming games. Even though some titles like Psychonauts 2 and The Outer Worlds 2 made an appearance during the initial E3 event, a developer discussion might give gamers more insight into these projects. In addition, games like Hellblade 2 and Avowed might get mentioned. Let us hope.

We are also excited to announce the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase: Extended. This special showcase, hosted by Kinda Funny Xcast’s and Gamertag Radio’s, Parris Lilly, will air on Thursday, June 17 at 10:00 AM PT. It will feature conversations with developers from studios like Double Fine, Obsidian, Ninja Theory, Rare, and our talented dev partners from around the world.

You can tune into the full Xbox extended showcase on 17 June 2021 at 19:00 SAT, 10am PT/1pm ET/6pm BST on YouTube. Make sure you catch up on all the amazing games Microsoft announced during the showcase event here. You may need some time, there is a lot.
