Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 Reloaded Detailed

On 10 May Activision will roll out the new mid-season 3 update for Modern Warfare 2. The update is titled “Reloaded” and introduces a new multiplayer map, Raid Episode 03, a new DMZ experience, two full-auto sidearms and Warzone 2.0 Ranked Play.

The new map is called Alboran Hatchery. It is a mid-sized 6v6 map set on a remote windswept facility under giant wind turbines. The new multiplayer modes in Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 include Giant Infection. It takes place on larger Battle Maps and represents a more large-scale combat mode.

There’s also a new 3v3 Face Off mode which lets players use their own custom loadouts and enter Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed and Gunfight maps using their own equipment.

Raid Episode 03 is a new hardcore experience that follows Price, Farah and Alex as they venture into old train tunnels in a Soviet base to pursue Hadir.

In Warzone 2.0, players will also now be able to use Perk Packages in Supply Boxes and Buy Stations. These packages offer passive buffs for Warzone Operators who haven’t called in their Loadout Drop. You can also now deploy Buy Stations using the new Deployable Buy Stations. There’s also a Gulag Entry Kit which gives players a second opportunity to fight their way out of the Gulag when killed.

Season 3 Reloaded also brings basketball star Kevin Durant to the game as an official Operator. He is purchasable in a special and limited-time store bundle. There are also two new fully automatic handguns – the FTAC Siege and GS Magna. Throwing Stars are also being added as secondary weapons.

As a reminder, the new mid-season update will go live on 10 May 2023 across all supported platforms. The content will roll out on Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0.
