Modern Warfare Season Two Trailer Leaks Revealing New Maps, Operator and More

Activision will be rolling out the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season Two campaign this week but before the official announcement, the full trailer for the second season has leaked revealing all the new content headed to the game. Last week we reported on the possibility that operator Ghost and the Rust map would make a return and it seems that will definitely be the case. Rust will be playable for the first time in 11 years and the pass will come with a load of new content.

The leaked trailer opens with the return of “Ghost” Riley, the iconic masked man from the series. This confirms that Ghost will be a playable operator in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season Two. We also get a glimpse of the returning Rust map which was made popular in Modern Warfare 2 and has been reimagined for the latest game. The map was originally released back in 2009 so it has been a long time coming and looks like it has maintained all of its iconic buildings and locations.

Rust is not the only map arriving in the new Modern Warfare Season Two, however. Atlas Superstore which looks like a new battleground for standard game types like Domination and Team Deathmatch was also shown off. We also got a glimpse at Urzikstan which is a new Gunfight map known as Bazaar. There is also a new Ground War map called Zhokov Boneyard that features scattered aeroplane remains on a deserted battlefield.

According to the trailer, two new weapons will also arrive with the pass including a GRAU 5.56 assault rifle and a Strike 45 SMG.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season Two will be going live sometime tomorrow for PS4, Xbox One and PC. We will update you on the full rollout of content as soon as Activision releases new information.
