Capcom has unveiled the minimum and recommend PC system requirements for its upcoming monster slaying RPG, Monster Hunter Wilds. For the most part, players will need to meet some pretty demanding specs to even get the 1080p at 30FPS basics. This follows the game’s release date reveal at this week’s PlayStation State of Play event where Capcom also announced the game’s flagship monster, Arkveld.
To explore the various biomes of Monster Hunter Wilds at minimum settings, PC players are going to need at least an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT graphics card, with an Intel Core i5-10600, Intel Corei3-12100F, or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and 16GB of RAM. Make sure you also have 140 GB of storage space saved for the game. Have a look at the full PC system requirements below:
Minimum Required Specs (1080p, 30FPS)

Bizarrely, despite the demanding specs for the recommended settings, you’ll only be getting 1080p at 60FPS out of it. “Yeah I’m a little bit scared guys,” reads one Reddit comment about the specs as fans are worried that the PC port for Monster Hunter Wilds will come with some headaches.
Considering the enormous scope of the game – a fan estimated that one of the game’s half dozen maps could be twice the size of the Wildspire Waste from World – some tweaking will probably need to be done at launch to get the PC version of the game running optimally.
Monster Hunter Wilds has a release date of 28 February 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
