Capcom has announced that the PS4 beta for the upcoming game will be available starting this Friday, 21 June and running right up to 24 June. The beta kicks off at 12 pm on Friday and ends at 12 pm on Monday and is open to PlayStation Plus subscribers only. Best of all, you don’t need to own the main game to take part in the tests either. You can now pre-load the beta by heading over to this link so you can be ready to go as soon as the beta goes live.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Beta Content
The upcoming beta will feature three quests. An intro-level Great Jargas fight and two tougher missions that take you to the new Hoarfrost Reach area. You will be hunting down the Banbaro and Tigrex.
You will be able to test out the new Clutch Claw hookshot device and use high-levelled weapons and equipment for the fights. Unfortunately, progress is not carried over to the main game but you will be rewarded “item packs containing helpful consumable items” in the full release if you complete each mission.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will release on 6 September 2019 for PS4 and Xbox One with the PC release in late 2019.
