The Australian Classification Board has rated a new id Software game called Project 2021B. While details are scarce at this time as to what this game could be, according to the rating, it is a multi-platform game with a “mature” age restriction. The rating also mentions online interactivity being part of the project.
id Software is currently busy with a few projects. For starters, it was revealed back in January this year that the studio was working on a game under the codename Project 2021A. This bit of information also came from another classification through the Australian Classification Board.

Project 2021A is also rated 18+ and includes violence and online interactivity. However, the difference between Project 2021A and Project 2021B is that “A” includes a VR component. Project 2021B, on the other hand, does not mention virtual reality at all.
Keep in mind that id Software is also working on the DOOM Eternal PS5 and Xbox Series X/S enhanced version that is set to release today, 29 June. However, that project is most likely not related to these two games.
Whatever id Software is working on, there seem to be two versions of it. There is a VR game and a non-VR version. Hopefully, we will get some new information regarding these two projects soon.
