After teasing for a couple of days, EA officially lifted the lid on its 2019 racing game and the 25th entry in the Need for Speed series. Need for Speed: Heat seems to be taking the series in a very different direction with a refreshing setting that takes place in Miami.
The reveal trailer featured a mix between gameplay and CG cinematics as the game’s racing systems and a few customization features were revealed. From what we gather, the game will have a fair share of police chases, street racing as well as some official racing tournaments to enter.
The game official description reads:
[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”#3DF011″ class=”19″ size=””]Hustle by day and risk it all by night in Need for Speed Heat, a thrilling race experience that pits you against a city’s rogue police force as you battle your way into street racing’s elite.[/perfectpullquote]
EA has yet to share any more information on the game other than the reveal trailer. Expect to see more of the game at Gamescom later this month. For more information on the game, make sure to follow the official Need for Speed: Heat social pages on Facebook and Twitter.
