After teasing for a couple of days, EA officially lifted the lid on its 2019 racing game and the 25th entry in the Need for Speed series. Need for Speed: Heat seems to be taking the series in a very different direction with a refreshing setting that takes place in Miami.

The reveal trailer featured a mix between gameplay and CG cinematics as the game’s racing systems and a few customization features were revealed. From what we gather, the game will have a fair share of police chases, street racing as well as some official racing tournaments to enter.

The game official description reads:

Hustle by day and risk it all by night in Need for Speed Heat, a thrilling race experience that pits you against a city’s rogue police force as you battle your way into street racing’s elite.
