EA Games is set to announce Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered tomorrow. However, the game already leaked at retailers revealing what players can look forward to when the remaster releases in November. For starters Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered is a remaster of the 2010 game created by Criterion Software. The game was a somewhat success winning multiple awards that year including best driving game and the best multiplayer game as the British Academy Awards.

According to the leaked listings, the remaster comes with around 6 additional hours of gameplay and all the DLC. The additional gameplay comes in the form of over 30 challenges, new achievements and car colours to collect. In addition, all the extra content is available from the start of the game so players can unlock new cars while they naturally play the game.
The listing also reveals that the game will include cross-platform multiplayer support. This is for both the co-op and the competitive racing missions. The game is releasing on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch on 6 November 2020. We don’t know if there is a next-gen version of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered yet. However, players could just boot the game through backwards compatibility.
EA Games is set to announce the game tomorrow. This after a teaser site went live yesterday with a countdown. While the leak ruins the hype reveal, at least we know 2020 won’t be Need for Speed-less.
