Neil Druckmann Working on The Last of Us Part III

A reputable source has confirmed that game director Neil Druckmann is currently working on The Last of Us Part III. According to the source, who is known for their accurate leaks in the past, The Last of Us Part III will arrive after Naughty Dog’s ‘Factions’ project. For those who don’t know, Factions is a standalone multiplayer game set to launch sometime in the future.

Naughty Dog is currently working on a few projects. One of which is this upcoming Factions multiplayer game. However, Naughty Dog is also reportedly working on an Uncharted reboot as well as a new IP. The Uncharted reboot is being outsourced to another studio with Naughty Dog overseeing the project. Little is known about this new IP at the moment apart from some leaked concept art that popped up a few months ago. We know now that The Last of Us Part III is also part of the studio’s ongoing developments.

The leak does come from a strange place though. Mainly because the user ViewerAnon is mainly known for their leaks in the movie and TV show industry. However, they also recently leaked the confirmation about Ashley Johnson as Anna in The Last of Us HBO show. In addition, they leaked Crash Bandicoot 4’s existence before it was even announced.

We are still quite far away from seeing The Last of Us Part III in the flesh. We’ll likely see an announcement in the next year or two, if anything.
