Netflix has detailed a handful of new games headed to the streaming service in the next few weeks. One of which has been announced as a mobile exclusive launch on the platform.
The company confirmed that Tales of the Shire will launch exclusively on Netflix for mobile devices. While the upcoming Hobbit-inspired game does plan to launch on PC and consoles, the only way to play this cosy game on mobile is through a Netflix subscription.
We covered Tales of the Shire in depth here already. The upcoming cosy game will see players manage and run the Shire. They can farm, garden, cook and build houses while exploring the outer skirts of the area. If you enjoy cosy games and The Lord of the Rings series, this one is for you.
Keep in mind that Tales of the Shire doesn’t have a release date yet. It is expected to launch later this year on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch and on mobile through Netflix.
In addition to Tales of the Shire, Netflix confirmed that Don’t Starve Together, Lab Rat, Rotwood, Harmonium: The Musical, Netflix Stories: Emily in Paris and Netflix Stories: Selling Sunset are all scheduled to launch “soon”.
As for the games you can play soon, Netflix Stories: Perfect Match is out on 6 June, Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit is launching on 25 June, Too Hot To Handle 3 is out on 18 July and Dragon Prince: Xadia launches on 30 July.
